You know you’re onto something good when you get to wake up every morning and create (and eat) deliciously healthy recipes and call it a job.
This is just a typical day in the life of Leah Itsines. With almost 400k followers on Instagram who tune in daily to see what creations she’ll come up with next, Leah epitomises what it means to live out your dream.
“I’m so passionate about health, nutrition, and healthy eating because I can see the way it can change people’s lives, day in, day out,” Leah tells TrainSrilanka. “Every day I wake up to messages from people struggling when it comes to their food, and the fact that I have the tools to create a platform where people can come to learn, be inspired and start a healthy journey is so incredible to me.”
Since we last spoke to Leah, she’s been quite a busy little bee. Not only is she still entertaining us with her hilarious videos (the one featuring her grandmother has to be one of our favourites), she has also launched an e-book entitled BARE (Balanced And Realistic Eating) which is a nutritional guide aimed to help women take the initial steps toward making a healthy lifestyle change in a balanced and realistic manner. All the recipes in the 4-week meal plan have been approved by a nutritionist and it’s designed to help you kick-start your healthy eating and fuel your body whilst allowing for flexible and realistic eating on a daily basis.
“I see comments like ‘oh I wish I could have pizza, I miss it!’— so I’ll make a super delicious, healthy pizza that is perfect to any diet and isn’t super boring and be like ‘see…you can have pizza!’ and really enforce my whole message about balanced eating.”
Leah, as always, we like your style!
